I was editing my file in vi and i did not save a back up of the original, it was my first time using the editor so lots of things just changed and now its even more difficult to remember what the original looked like. The file is the syslog-ng configuration. Is it wise for me to remove the configuration file and get a new one without having to type in the whole code?
