wine-extension-jpe.desktop file so that Wine loads JPG images in Picasa, instead of Wine Internet Explorer, BUT Instead of Picasa Viewer (Which I Intended By Typing Picasa Photo Viewer after the ProgID in the Properties of the File), I Actually Only Got the Picasa Program itself to load (Saw The Gallery of Images in the Program).
I Also Typed Picasa PictureViewer in the Path Registry String in the Properties Tab of the wine.extension-jpe.desktop file. I know I'm halfway there, which is better, but please answer with diligence & care. I have played with the registry directly + used the Ubuntu Tweak app + Main Menu app + read countless terminal scripts that left even me who's getting used to the terminal saying "Forget It!!" or I might have if they were detailed down the smallest element on what they were communicating with their code.
They were so lazy at typing it all out & I couldn't make sense of it & figure out how I could adapt it all to my situation. So the summary: How do I get PicasaPhotoViewer.exe to execute in "Open With" instead of the Picasa program itself? Do I need to include the full path to the PicasaPhotoViewer.exe or is it some other derivative of Picasa PictureViewer or what have you? Not meaning to sound rude, but please don't insult mine or anyone else's time on here by lazy answers that benefit no one.
I took the time to bring this to this forum with a detailed synopsis of what I'm doing, what I've attempted to do up to now, the Apps I've used in the repository, etc, etc, so please be respectful of all viewer's time by being detailed as possible, down to the smallest degree if necessary so EVERYONE can use it as a step by step guide & make sense of it without something super small throwing them off & not making it work. With that all said, I hope you all take care & make a great, positive day.
