Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I was in a middle of an update when my computer hang. When I restarted it, I could not use Software Updater again. It gave me errors and told me to run this:

sudo apt-get install -f

So I ran it, and it gave me this error:

dpkg: error processing linux-headers-3.8.0-19 (--configure): package linux-headers-3.8.0-19 is not ready for configuration (current status 'half-installed')

What can I do to fix this? Can I purge that linux header somehow and install it again?
