I am editing an ubuntu 12.04 livecd manually. I would like to add custom shortcuts for F buttons (F1-F12). Maybe there is a way to do it inside the chroot environment I work in using the command line (maybe with gsettings). I chroot to the squashfs after extracting it from the CD. on ubuntu 10.10 I could use the following:
gconftool-2 -s -t string /apps/metacity/global_keybindings/run_command_2 '<Control>G' gconftool-2 -s -t string /apps/metacity/keybinding_commands/command_2 'gimp'
any help would be appreciated!
