Is there a way where I can get/sync all the content/shortcuts of which lies in my Gnome panel to another computer(laptop) an back?

I've has look a little to gconftool but it seems not really to copy all shortcuts to my laptop!!

gconftool --dump /apps/panel > backup.xml

It worked for me. Just to be sure, did you use "gconftool --load backup.xml" to restore? Which shortcut did not copy? –  desgua Mar 29 '11 at 12:24
Yes... after some more testing it seems that it is folder-shortcut it did not bother to sync. This I could understand if it was my /home/profilename folder-shortcut, but it does not bother to sync my /bin folder-shortcut. I also have an Adobe AIR Application called Wimp who did not bother to be sync!! –  Voidcode Mar 29 '11 at 20:41
