I have done a fresh wine install from wine ppa (ubuntu 13.04).

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install wine1.6

Then I tried to run winecfg in a terminal or from the applications menu. A window appears saying that wine is configuring my environment but nothing else append. Nothing is written in the terminal and configuration do not stop. The directory .wine is create but the size looks like too big !

> ls .wine/
dosdevices drive_c system.reg userdef.reg user.reg

> du -sh

I read the answer of that question : How to Install and Configure Wine and I am sorry to say that I did not find a solution. My problem is not to know how to install wine. I did it. But just after the installation I cannot run neither wine nor winecfg or any other wine program. Nothing is written into the terminal. I do not know what can I check or test ?
