I am very pleased with Kazam as a screen recording software. It runs smoothly, and allows to simultaneously record the monitor of my system audio and an external microphone.

However, I like to use xmonad as my window manager. As a result, I cannot figure out how to stop a recording, as no toolbar icon is present.

Is there any way to stop a kazam recording without using GNOME or another desktop environment? Any other suggestions? I have tried using super+ctrl+f to no avail.
