After upgrading to Ubuntu 12.04, I get this message very often when I open any application. "Ubuntu 12.04 has experienced an internal error".

I used sudo sed -i s/enabled=1/enabled=0/ /etc/default/apport to turn off Apport, to avoid pop up of crash reports like the one I mentioned before.

Now I am not able to open many applications, I am not even getting any error messages or crash reports.

How do I fix this?

Can you turn apport back on and have a look at why applications are crashing? –  BiggJJ Jul 5 '13 at 19:10
