Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have an Asus UX32VD and Ubuntu 13.04 running in UEFI mode. I mounted a directory on a server via sshfs and suspended my notebook.

On wakeup, no internet connection was available and nautilus crashed. When I tried to reboot, Ubuntu got stuck and I had to power down the maschine. Since then, I have not been able to boot anything: Neither Ubuntu, nor Windows, nor Fedora, and not even Ubuntu from a LiveUSB stick. I exchanged the hard drive for one with a Windows OS, but it won't boot either. Does anyone have an idea what I could try?
