Iam using ubuntu 12.04 Desktop in my laptop(lenovo thinkpad L412). Initially, after installing OS iam able to connect to wifi but unable to share wifi. After using some commands to install wifi drivers, now in network tab, no wifi devices list is displayed and some options are missing. If there is a problem with wifi, providing the drivers link will be helpful.

If you were using wi-fi earlier the driver was installed. What you did was wrong. Undo the changes. The question can not be answered in current from. Please edit your question with details of your hardware. Hardware information can be found using this commands in terminal lspci , sudo lshw -c network rfkill list all. Execute these commands one by one and post the output here. Also give a link, description what commands you have executed to install the driver –  Web-E Jul 4 '13 at 10:45
