I have a Broadcom 4306 on my Ubuntu 13.04 system. I finally firgured out how to get the b43 driver working by unblacklisting it, but now I have connectivity problems. I had no problems before in my previous Ubuntu installations.
It seems like the connection drops after a few hours or connecting. I then can revive it eventually by turning WiFi on and off, on and off. This is really cumbersome and I would rather not have to do it.
When I set up the WiFi, on my particular network I did the Manual settings for IPV4 and put in a bunch of random IPs and my DNS filter stuff. I disabled IPV6. Will any of this make my problems?
Thank you for any help!
