I am new to ubuntu and if I install the following theme by the commands:

$ wget -c
$ tar -zxvf AX-Install.tar.gz
$ sudo sh

$ sudo sh

How can I uninstall the above installed theme?

Doesn't look like any of the above posted commands installs any themes. There is another script,, which does, and it also offers to uninstall it, if the AmbienceX theme had been previously installed.

So, basically, you just need to run sudo sh, both to install, and to uninstall it.

There is this response to a comment: "Andre – I can’t image what this theme would do to cause this type of problem. With that said, run the installation script again and select “Remove Ambiance X” to validate the problem is fixed." – user25656 Jun 29 '13 at 5:31
