I just bought a new computer. I replaced windows 8 with Ubuntu 12.04. On windows 8 i could hook up to the wireless network no problem. Once on Ubuntu, I couldn't. I couldn't find the network in the menu so I entered all it's information manually but it gave me no option to connect and I couldn't get it to. I've looked at a lot of questions on here and the forum but everything I've tried has yet to work.
This is the response to lshw -C network

i"m not very computer oriented but i can't seem to find anything about wireless stuff, just ethernet info when using terminal. Is that normal? Any and all help is appreciated, thanks.
I've also tried unblocking the rfkill switches, but every time i use an rfkill command, except rfkill help, it just does nothing. As if I hit enter when the space was blank. I've also found a few guides to installing a new driver but they were for different NIC's i think and they didn't work.
