Currently Windows 7 is running on my PC. When i boot to Windows -> connected to the internet.

When i try to install Ubuntu 12.04 and boot from the installation CD -> "Disconnected - You are now offline".

There is a LAN cable connected directly from my router to my PC. No WLAN used.

Anyone an idea how to fix that very annoying problem?

You should give more informations about your PC. – Radu Rădeanu Jun 17 '13 at 17:33
You should also tell us something about your network, wireless or wired? Dynamic or static IPv4 addresses? – Anders Jun 20 '13 at 1:04

Well, I found help in another forum. So my question got answered.

For everyone who wants to know how I solved my problem:

Thank you anyway.

Welcome to Ask Ubuntu! Whilst this may theoretically answer the question, it would be preferable to include the essential parts of the answer here, and provide the link for reference. – fossfreedom Jun 20 '13 at 9:56
