I have an HP-G60 Notebook with a nvidia GE force 8200 I am Having resolution issues. I am a noob to Linux so bear with me. after install The load screen and desktop was not as crisp as the live cd also when I pull images off the web to place in my desktop background they look awful. Not sure if it is a computer resolution problem or not. I ran xrandr to check my computers capabilities and it reads Screen 0: minimum 8 x 8, current 1366 x 768, maximum 8192 x 8192 VGA-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) LVDS-0 connected 1366x768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 344mm x 194mm 1366x768 60.0*+. When running the Live cd no problems backgrounds were great and the ubuntu loading image was small and the purple loading screen had a brighter cleaner texture. I have tried all of the proprietary drivers even the beta nothing seems to resolve the issue. I have tried downloading resolution ad size specific backgrounds and they all fail. remember I am a noob so any help is appreciated
