Since a couple weeks now, I have the following processes use a lot of CPU time:
/usr/sbin/dnsmasq --no-resolv --keep-in-foreground --no-hosts --bind-interface --pid-file=… […](5%)
Is there some reason for them to use the CPU constantly? I think that issue is new, since it never occured to me. Can I do something about this?
I looked into the syslog, and it seems that cron writes an email to me whenever there is something finished.
I put a
rm -f /var/spool/nullmailer/queue/* into the crontab to be executed every 10 minutes. That does not really fix the underlying problem, but it keeps the queue small.
