I have OpenVPN setup using network-manager-open-vpn-gnome, its been working for years, however the server end is experiencing internet connection issues at the moment and drops out quite regularly.

My client conf is:

#.conf
client
remote my.server.com
ca /home/user/VPN/ca.crt
cert /home/user/VPN/user.crt
key /home/user/VPN/user.key
comp-lzo yes
dev tun
proto udp
nobind
auth-nocache
script-security 2
persist-key
persist-tun
user openvpn
group openvpn

Is there a way to make network-manager reconnect automatically if the VPN dies or a way to manually set up OpenVPN so that it reconnects when it dies?
