The problem is that every time I boot I have to run
sudo service networking restart every time I boot in order to get it working. After that everything works fine.
Any ideas how I can solve this short of creating an init script that runs that command?? Or perhaps I could add the line to /etc/init/networking.conf??
I've manually set up the networking configuration and uninstalled network-manager.
