Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have tried to install ubuntu on my machine and it simply doesn't work. The Usb stick is recognised by the bios but it just starts windows 8 instead. I have turned off secure boot but there is a lot of different boot options available as Key Management and I can upload files to the bios, but what to upload is the big question.

Platform Key (PK), Key Exchange Key Database(KEK), Authorized signature Database, Forbidden Signature Database

I have installed ubuntu on many many machines with x86 processors but on this one i am at a complete loss. The Tablet has a new version of the Atom processor and the tablet is great, but i do really need linux and ubuntu on it!
