I have an nvidia GPU that I normaly use for display. I installed propietary nvidia drivers and the instalation program had configured X11 system. Also, my intel processor has an integrated GPU.

Now, since I needed to do some debugging with CUDA, and my nvidia card could not run in debug mode while being used by X, I decided to plug monitor into an IGPU connector and use IGPU for display while debugging with nvidia card.

However, when I did that, Unity became broken. There is no dash, desktop title bar or window decorations. I can't close or move windows.

What can be done to remedy this? I need to enable full window system functionality through IGPU temporarily, and then go back to nvidia GPU. Can Unity/X be somehow configured to switch between IGPU/PCIE?
