I recently installed Ubuntu 12.04 on an Acer C7 Chromebook. It worked great, but I shut the machine down, and now that I'm rebooting it goes to the warning screen beeps twice restarts and boots to Chrome, How do I boot it into the Ubuntu I installed?

Sounds like Chrome has priority over Ubuntu in the boot order. When the machine boots up, can you access the boot menu and select ubuntu for startup? Does grub display a list of bootable systems at startup? –  jevon May 28 '13 at 5:23

Did you install ChrUbuntu by following this article: http://chromeos-cr48.blogspot.com/2013/05/chrubuntu-one-script-to-rule-them-all_31.html?

See point 12 for instructions to switch between ChromeOS and ChrUbuntu.
