Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Ubuntu Touch in the area "Apps->Installed" shows only 6 applications. If I add add my own "*.desktop" file among of existing files in the directory "/usr/share/applications", my application is not visible. In the case, if I change "Exec" of visible application with my own "Exec" I can run my application, but I can't change it's name and it's not looks like my application. I think that my launcher exists on the phone, but it's just not visible, because other 6 applications are visible. How can I make my application's icon visible? Could anyone help, please?

P.S. Maybe I just have old Ubuntu Touch image and now interface changed.
