Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have been going to install 4shared desktop. When I opened 4shared desktop .deb file by Software Ubuntu Center, it required openjdk-6-jre, but it can not install openjdk-6-jre. When i marked openjdk-6-jre by synaptic, it showed that something's broken but could not be fixed. So I tried change server to Main Server. But it's still sameway fail. i also have tried to install in terminal: http://askubuntu.com/a/163687/160435. (sudo apt-get -f install) has uninstaled 4shared Desktop. I use Ubuntu 13.04, main server, all up to date till now 05/21/2013.

Try installing OpenJDK, and then install 4shared desktop. –  Mitch May 21 '13 at 3:15
