Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Ok, for starters, I am a complete noob to Linux.

I am running Ubuntu 13.04 on my Dell Studio 15.

It uses a broadcom card. It see networks just fine but when connecting to my home network (Linksys wireless access point) I get a wireless icon that keeps cycling and it never connects.

My access point is using a "G" signal with WPA personal and AES encryption.

Works fine in windows and fine in Ubuntu 12.10 when running from a flash drive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
