Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I was having difficulties getting wubi to recognize some of my partitioned drives, so in my tinkering I used the Universal USB Installer to install the liveCD right to a partition on my drive. Then I used EasyBCD to make an entry for lubuntu.

Now, all I can do is boot up into lubuntu and I don't know how to change it back to Windows or format the live CD partition. I've tried a live USB of GParted, which brings me to the grub command line interface. I've tried live USB lubuntu and ubuntu, but it goes straight into the partition drive lubuntu despite specifying USB drive in the BIOS.

I'm tearing my hair out here. Isn't there just an easy way to change the boot order back to Windows or to just format the drive?
