Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I want to create a user with a limited login time. To be more clear, I want the user account to be able to login for specified time (ie. 1000 clocks), and then the account deactivates. I looked at useradd but it only gave me an option to set expire date. As my desired limit is not a specified date, but a specified time of login, it doesn't help. Can anyone help?

I believe this is addressed in some depth in an existing question: askubuntu.com/questions/68918/… –  Paul May 20 '13 at 0:21
