I have tried to install ati driver 12.4-13.1 on ubuntu 12.04.2 according to the article
What is the correct way to install ATI Catalyst Video Drivers (fglrx)? and many other installation references on the web.

my notebook is dell 14r n4110 which gets ati/intel hybrid graphical card, almost every time, I just got problem while typing the command:

sudo sh amd-driver-installer-8.982-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg Ubuntu/precise
and the error is:

could anyone tell me how to solve the problem, I'm really thankful!

Could be because you tried to install new fglrx on a system where there was a previous fglrx install. Purge it first before installing a new one. –  Marky Oct 18 '13 at 6:21
