Im running Ubuntu 12.04 in my PC, Intel Dual Core,2.5gb RAM, ATI Radeon HD 6670

I have intalled the driver for my ATI following this tutorial.

The thing is that Unity 3D do not respond, every time I try to log in it freezes I can see the top an the left bars but they are frozen and the only thing I can do is move the pointer. I have to use Unity 2D.

Reading in forums I found that maybe a problem between Compiz and ATI. And I could proveit, trying to make Unity 2D to look better I replace Metacity for Compiz and reboot . Then I have the same problem in Unity 2D. So I put Unity 2D the way it should be but im still lost with Unity 3D I just don't know what to do.

I hope some of you guys can tell me what to do. Thanks.
