Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am trying to mount my media drive on my ubuntu server on my pi over the network. I need some help editing /etc/fstab for syntax on this mount. I am able to mount the drive manually with:

sudo mount //192.168.1.100/Media /home/pi/Media

As far as adding that to /etc/fstab ... everything I've come across does not allow me to mount the drive on boot. I tried following this guide (really just the last bit editing fstab) with no luck.
