Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

From tutorial in http://choorucode.com/2010/04/02/how-to-change-the-date-and-time-format-of-clock-in-panel-of-ubuntu/

According to strftime format, I have only %Y for full 4-digit year in Christian calendar (which is 2013). But I want to plus such figure with 543 yr to display as Buddhist year (BE 2556).

I'd tried changing Regional Formats' setting to Thai but nothing changed.

How can I add year in date section on top panel ?
