I installed openvswitch kernel module using apt-get and seems like apt-get build and install that package using dkms. Apt-get installs sources in /usr/src/openvswitch-version/ directory. I need to do some changes in the code and then again have to build the code and install the binaries. Source code already has dkms.conf file in it. When i tri dkms build -m openvswitch -v 1.4.0, it says

"Module openvswitch/1.4.0 already built for kernel 3.2.0-29-generic/4"

I tried to find some option which can rebuild the module, but didn't find any. Can anyone share if there is any way we can rebuild the module for the same kernel level?
