I have run
sudo sensors-detect, and only find two modules
#----cut here---- # Chip drivers coretemp lm75 #----cut here----
$ sensors acpitz-virtual-0 Adapter: Virtual device temp1: +28.8°C (crit = +100.0°C) coretemp-isa-0000 Adapter: ISA adapter Physical id 0: +48.0°C (high = +86.0°C, crit = +100.0°C) Core 0: +43.0°C (high = +86.0°C, crit = +100.0°C) Core 1: +48.0°C (high = +86.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
At that time , I can not find
$ sudo ls /etc/sensors.conf ls: cannot access /etc/sensors.conf: No such file or directory
sudo pwmconfig gives
/usr/sbin/pwmconfig: There are no pwm-capable sensor modules installed
My notebook cpu is i5-2450M . I use ubuntu 12.04 amd64.
My notebook fan sometimes halts. If I need to control it using application such as fancontrol or thinkfan?
Why can not I find fan info in
sensors command ?
