How do I access external drives in Ubuntu 13.04? External drives cannot be viewed or obtained (accessed) in the file folder (that is, by clicking on the file icon). Previous versions of Ubuntu included this convenience as a basic feature.

If you have a question, please modify the above text to include it. Feedback and opinions are not good candidates for for AskUbuntu. – mikewhatever Apr 30 '13 at 9:50
Dear mikewhatever. I have re-phrased the question accordingly. I hope this meets everyone's criteria to sufficiently re-open it and provide a solution. Thanks. Sooopy. – sooopy Apr 30 '13 at 18:08
Please edit your question and add more information. Take a screen-shot of the window and put it (or a link) in the question. I will remove the extra stuff. If this is a bug, file a bug report. Bugs are off topic here. – user68186 Apr 30 '13 at 18:50
Dear user68186. You edit "the extra stuff" and ask for more information in the same sentence? Talk to mikewhatever, he previously closed the question because "feedback and opinions are not good candidates for AskUbuntu". You sure you guys aren't over editing in your zeal to edit. The question, after editing, simply states in bold: How do I access external drives in Ubuntu 13.04?. Take a screen shot of what, the folder icon? The question is followed by the statement that external drives cannot be viewed or in the file folder, how do you expect a screen shot of something not viewable. – sooopy Apr 30 '13 at 22:00
@sooopy What are you talking about? The question is not closed, no one has even voted to close it. – mikewhatever Apr 30 '13 at 22:22
