Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

My first day with Linux / Ubuntu 12.04...spent most of it on dual boot issues with Windows 8, which now seems to be working great. I haven't been able to get my wireless mouse and keyboard working though (fortunately I have spare wired ones). I have a Logitech MK520.

I saw something on the issue here (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/udev/+bug/870227) ...see #21. I have tried commenting out the two lines in /lib/udev/rules.d/97-bluetooth-hid2hci.rules and saving the file, but it doesn't seem to have worked.

Would upgrading to 13.04 help? Any ideas would be much appreciated.

EDIT: I have now resolved this with the old turn everything on and off and unplug / replug everything in. Excited to be up and running properly!
