Okay, now I am porting 2 devices to Ubuntu Touch and can do everything listed on http://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/Porting apart from the following part:

The main build file needs to be checked if updates are required to it to support new drivers or parts of the build not used before, it's path is: build/core/main.mk

The part of interest are the subdirs included in the build and if special treatment for devices need to be made, i.e.; make sure the new vendor subdirs are added.

This will eventually not be needed.

I can successfully compile without this however my phone then does a boot loop and wont run Ubuntu Touch so I believe this has something to do with it.

The command I type to run this in terminal is pretty much the envsetup way:

source /build/core/main.mk

and I get the following:

ifdef: Befehl nicht gefunden. (Command not found) ANDROID_BUILD_SHELL: Befehl nicht gefunden. (Same as above translation) SHELL: Befehl nicht gefunden.(Same as above translation) bash: build/core/main.mk: Zeile 5: Syntaxfehler beim unerwarteten Wort else' (line 5: Syntax error by the word 'else') bash: build/core/main.mk: Zeile 5:else'

Is this because something is not installed? Please help? I cant wait to test it out!
