I'm having troubles installing Ubuntu's development version 11.04. I'm attempting to install it in a VM. When I try to install directly I get a warning saying a fatal error has occurred, and then it boots into a live desktop session. When I attempt to install here, the installer hangs after I've entered the username and password. Any ideas?

I'm using VirtualBox OSE, I've given the VM 1 GB RAM, and a 50 GB HDD. I've included a screenshot of the error below:

It's not clear what you are doing. Where you have to enter your username and password? What virtualization software? Is there some details on warning (in addition to "fatal error has occured")? – Olli Mar 2 '11 at 12:50

You need to post this on Launchpad as a bug so that the developers see it and have a chance to fix it. – Oli Mar 2 '11 at 14:30
