I recently upgraded from Ubuntu 12.10 to Ubuntu 13.04. In 12.10, I made use of the Gnome-Pie application launcher, installed from the ppa:simonschneedgans/testing source. When I try to install Gnome-Pie in Ubuntu 13.04, I get the error the dependency libbamf3-0 must be installed but is not installable.

I am unsure if this is a bug, has a workaround, or needs attention from the developer. Either way, please help!

Try: sudo apt-get install libbamf3-1 – green Apr 27 '13 at 15:27
You can build it from source as described on official site. – Basharat Sialvi Apr 27 '13 at 16:21
Thanks for your advice, but my whole point is to avoid all of this complicated compiling/running into errors! Plus, I'm not that great at building stuff from source! – UbuntuGNOME Apr 28 '13 at 11:14
