I've just upgraded to 13.04 and my
kern.log currently has almost 600 MB. I found out that the most frequent record is this:
iwl3945 0000:0c:00.0: Radio disabled by HW RF Kill switch
The wifi was turned off during upgrade, when I noticed that there was a process connected to wifi that was eating 80% of CPU all the time, I've turned it on.
Is this a wireless driver bug?
