Eclipse displays the full path to the selected file in its titlebar, for example, "Java - product/src/com/whatever/Widget.java - Eclipse Platform". When I switch to another window, this disappears. This is a hassle since this is exactly what I'm most likely to want to see when I switch windows (like wanting to type that path into a terminal window).

  • Non full screen eclipse, active: good, I can see titlebar.
  • Non full screen eclipse, inactive: good, I can still see titlebar.
  • Full screen eclipse, active: good, I can see titlebar.
  • Full screen eclipse, active window on other monitor: bad, titlebar is blank.
  • Full screen eclipse, active non full screen window on same monitor: bad, titlebar is blank.

It seems as if my only option is to unmaximize the window when I want to see this. Can I keep my window title while not active in full screen mode?
