I'd like to install Ubuntu One on my gnome shell installation.

I cannot install control-panel-qt because it changes all my desktop.

How can I do this?

Please explain how installing ubuntuone-control-panel-qt "changes all your desktop" in your question. –  dobey Apr 19 '13 at 18:36

When I install control-panel-qt it requires some qt repos. When it installed in place of my gnome-shell activity bar I have a gnome2 like menu bar. –  Alain Apr 20 '13 at 20:04

Yes, it requires some Qt libraries, as it uses that toolkit. But that wouldn't cause your issue. It sounds like you are hitting a bug, and you should file that bug on launchpad, with ubuntu-bug gnome-shell. –  dobey Apr 21 '13 at 19:33
