Since i have downloaded ubuntu, the problems i'm dealing with is some of the text boxes, i.e. on the internet, their background colour is navy blue and my typing is white which i want to change and then on the other side, if the boxes are white background, i.e. google search bar, i annot see what i'm typing at all and thirdly some of the buttons on my keyboard are muddled around now, hope people can help, it is driving me crazy.

Please ask just one question at a time. But, for starters, your problem with text boxes is possibly related to some theme you've installed. –  user25656 Apr 17 '13 at 11:33

If you are using firefox and want a quick way to switch text colours, take a look at the colortoggle firefox extension. Otherwise, if your system colours are acting strange, try to go back to the default theme (system settings -> appearance). –  soulsource Apr 17 '13 at 12:25
