Your problem should be related to the graphic card driver. Please update your answer with your graphic card model (you can use lspci | grep VGA) and the output of /usr/lib/nux/unity_support_test -p. –  Salem Apr 16 '13 at 19:56

current driver is same as my card model. –  Saifullah Apr 17 '13 at 7:10

if you can see the terminal perfectly, it might not be the vga driver –  cipricus Apr 17 '13 at 9:23

@user149844 and the output of /usr/lib/nux/unity_support_test -p? Are you using the fglrx driver or ati? –  Salem Apr 17 '13 at 10:15

when i did lspci | grep VGA, this shows up "01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI RV200 [Mobility Radeon 7500]" and i am using 'Evo N1000v' Compac and "ATI Mobility Radeon 7500" is the Graphics card. –  Saifullah Apr 17 '13 at 15:22
