I want to download any streaming video from websites.I already know that there are add-ons in firefox for youtube streaming video download.Please tell me how to download any streaming video from news and educational websites.

Try VideoDownloadHelper. This firefox extension works on pretty much every website.

Anyhow, be aware that it might be illegal to download streaming content.

You can try 4k downloader. It downloads Youtube, Vimeo etc. It's free and open-source.

I usually use Keepvid, which works on FireFox, Chrome and many other browsers. You may search it in Google and use it directly on the web page. Also, there're many keepvid liked applications which may help: http://www.downloadavideo.net/online-downloader/sites-like-keepvid.html
