If my laptop is connected to the wireless and I then connect the local network cable to a different network my wireless then gets disabled. I've tried unblocking using "rfkill" but nothing seems to work. If I then pull out the network cable my wifi is back up. So every time I plug in a cable the wireless is disabled.
This tells me there's nothing physical (like a switch) that's engaged/disengaged and it's more like a software problem?
Can anyone help me out here?
When I have booted into windows I'm able to have both wireless and cable connected - but in ubuntu there's no chance of it.
