Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

My problem is pretty much a duplicate of the one described in USB mouse late to load , but the solution there has not worked for me.

I'm running the same OS and experiencing the exact same issue. It disappears after 10 seconds or so. Booting with the options specified in the other question did not fix it :/

Thanks in advance.

Does the problem still happen when you boot to a live CD? –  ændrük Mar 1 '11 at 4:48
