I have an ati hd6870 graphic card. I just want to use Ubuntu 10.10 for studying. however when I intalled Ubuntu10.10 64bit after that installed graphic driver. but it doesn't work

Can you further explain what do you mean with "but it doesn't work"? Are you getting a blank screen? Low res? Just a console?.... – luri Feb 25 '11 at 3:35
