I'm following the ubuntu docs on setting up software raid-0 across 2 disks.
It suggests that I partition the disks with the "Automatically partition the free space" option, which sets up the partitions as seen in the screenshot.
But I really don't want to blow 50GB on swap partitions. And I don't know how to manually create the correct partitions as performed by the "Automatically partition the free space" option.
- Can anyone help me in either reducing the size of the swap or figuring out how to partition it correctly manually?
Also, could someone help me understand why a 4TB disk can have a 4TB partition and a 25GB partition? Wouldn't that exceed the size of the drive?
Here is an example of a configuration that fails, and I cannot, for the life of me, understand what's wrong here. I have a 100M bootable partition on sda, and the rest of the space on a RAID 0 partition.
This is about my 5th different configuration, and grub won't accept any of them.
