So Ubuntu was working perfectly. I wanted to restart (Only because it was lagging a little) my PC, but weridly, it shutdown perfectly, but then didn't do the starting up part. So I waited for a minute. But still it wouldn't start up. So I turned it on.
It got past the BIOS screen, got to the Ubuntu screen, loaded two dots and bang! It would either come up with scattered writing (It did that on my old PC with 10.10 in it at shutdown) for 30 seconds and then freeze the writing for a split second (So I couldn't see the writing), and then shutdown.
Or, it would get to the last dot and as soon as that dot went red, it would just shutdown with nothing.
I know it's not a power cut, it's not the PC as I am using a LiveCD right now, and the chargers plugged in fine. I even booted with the battery out (Just so I was testing the battery) but no avail.
What is causing the problem?
Oh, and I haven't modified anything to the system.
