I've got an alps touchpad. I'm sure it's multitouch because I can use it for 3 finger gestures in windows 8. Why don't they work with ubuntu? Is it configured to only work with a synaptics touchpad? Are there any alps drivers for ubuntu that have multitouch?

No, I have an alps touchpad. Not a synaptics one. What should I do for an alps touchpad? –  user2107351 Apr 7 '13 at 3:43
