I have a problem with running dual-screen on Ubuntu 12.04 with RADEON 6450. This card have VGA, DVI and HDMI ports. I try to connect VGA + DVI (im plug monitor to DVI with VGA to DVI connector). Both monitors works when I plug them to VGA port, but when I plug one to VGA and one to DVI - that monitor connected to DVI say that it have no Signal.

I use AMD Radeon 6450 Driver and standard interface. Where may lay problem?

Many thanks for any anwser

I'd advise to red the manual for your VGA. Maybe it cannot work in such config. Other thing may be bios settings IMO. –  Misery Apr 4 '13 at 5:52
@Misery - thanks for anwser - my GPU should work with two monitors (it is link. I've also search for some options in BIOS but couldnt find any. Any other tips? –  Glorifind Apr 8 '13 at 6:39
So those things come in my mind. Hardware damage. Drivers settings. Or something in bios - sometimes you have to find the advanced bios mode - how to enter this should be written in mainboard manual. Maybe it is worth trying to install proprietary AMD drivers? However this might do a lot of bad things if it wont succeed. –  Misery Apr 8 '13 at 11:24
